Quisha Umemba is from Dallas, Texas (by way of North Little Rock, Arkansas). She graduated from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a master’s in public health and is a bachelor’s prepared Registered Nurse. As a nurse and public health practitioner, Quisha quickly became aware of the fact that she possessed a unique, multifaceted, blended expertise that included a 360-degree view of the healthcare and public health landscape. After working in local, state, and federal governments and incorporating some lessons learned from her years as a nurse, Quisha decided to launch into entrepreneurship as a Public Health consultant.
To this day, she is most proud of her transition from the care of individuals to the care of communities. An advocate for health equity, her life's mission is to empower, educate, and transform the lives of others.
